Terms of Service
What Low-Pressure Service Covers
Last updated: October 2026
These terms apply to low water pressure repair work provided by New York Plumbing Pros. Depending on the symptoms and conditions found, service may include checking accessible fixtures, shutoff valves, pressure regulators, and visible piping; testing water pressure; identifying likely causes; and explaining repair options.
Work proceeds only within the scope approved by the customer. A leak, failing pump, damaged water service, or other separate problem may require a separate estimate and written approval.
Work subject to permits or regulated plumbing requirements will be handled in accordance with applicable rules, including the 2022 New York City Plumbing Code, NYC Department of Buildings permit requirements, and NYC licensed master plumber requirements. Water service connections must also meet applicable NYC Department of Environmental Protection requirements.
Lead-related work, where applicable, is subject to relevant EPA Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule requirements. This service does not include permit fees, concealed-condition repairs, restoration, or unrelated work unless separately agreed.
Setting, Changing, OR Canceling a Visit
Appointments are arranged by phone or email, with the visit window and known service request confirmed with you. Please provide accurate access instructions and tell us about building entry rules, water shutoffs, or other conditions that could affect the visit.
If you need to cancel or change an appointment, contact us as soon as possible so we can discuss another time. Any cancellation fee or other charge will be disclosed before it applies; these terms do not create an undisclosed fee.
A technician may need to inspect the plumbing before confirming the work required. If findings change the proposed repair, we will explain the added work and any price change before proceeding.
You may decline the added scope, though that may limit the work we can complete during the visit. Work outside the approved scope will not be treated as authorized merely because it may help address low pressure. Access delays or unsafe conditions may require rescheduling.
Estimates, Approval, and Payment
An estimate describes the work and charges known when it is prepared. Because low pressure can have more than one cause, an initial assessment may identify additional work that was not visible beforehand.
We will explain any proposed change and its cost and obtain your approval before doing work beyond the accepted scope. An estimate is not approval for unrelated repairs, and an inspection does not guarantee that every concealed condition can be found.
Payment timing and accepted payment methods will be stated in the estimate, work order, or invoice. Please review those details before authorizing service and raise any questions before work begins.
If a permit, testing, or additional repair is needed, related charges will be presented for approval as applicable. No specific price or financing offer is promised by these terms.
You are responsible for paying the agreed charges for authorized work, subject to applicable law and any written terms provided for your job.
What to Know About Workmanship Coverage
Any workmanship warranty that applies to your repair will be stated in writing on the estimate, work order, or other service document. That document controls the covered work, duration, and any steps needed to request service.
These terms do not promise a particular warranty period or create coverage that is not provided in writing. Product or equipment warranties, if any, may be offered by their manufacturers and are subject to the manufacturer’s terms.
Coverage may not apply to problems caused by unrelated or pre-existing plumbing conditions, misuse, unauthorized changes, or work performed by others, to the extent allowed by the written warranty and applicable law. A return visit to assess a concern does not itself establish that the repair is covered.
Contact us with your service record and a description of the issue so we can review the applicable documents. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot be waived under New York law.
Responsibility for Existing Conditions and Losses
To the extent permitted by law, New York Plumbing Pros’ responsibility for a claim arising from a particular service is limited to the amount paid for that service. This limit does not apply where applicable law prohibits it, including for liability that cannot legally be waived. We are not responsible for damage or service problems caused by pre-existing defects, concealed conditions, customer-supplied equipment, or work by others, except where our own conduct is legally responsible.
Plumbing work must follow applicable requirements, including the 2022 New York City Plumbing Code, NYC Department of Buildings permit rules, and licensed master plumber requirements for regulated work. NYC Department of Environmental Protection requirements may apply to water service connections.
These rules do not remove a customer’s legal rights or excuse either party from duties imposed by law. Where lead-related work falls under its scope, the EPA Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule may apply.
Nothing here is intended to exclude liability that New York law does not allow a business to exclude.
Questions About These Service Terms

Include your name, service address, appointment date, and a brief description of your question so we can identify the relevant service record. Please do not send sensitive payment details by email.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will be made available through our website or provided on request.
For a scheduled job, the terms and written work documents provided when you authorize service will govern that job, except where a later change is required by law or agreed in writing. Updates do not change completed work retroactively.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent allowed by law.
